Another one from the king of tutorials!

Thanks alot <3 Another one to my nice list. This time with very very cool Animations and those downloadable versions! Very niice! Keep them coming! Vote: 5 (6 if possible)

It is ok, thats all

Well, this game was ok by all meanings. But there are alot of reasons that I don't give a higher overall score than 6.

I loved anything about the graphics, they were really smooth and cool with the retro lookings combined with the halo figures and enviorments. Animations looked real fine and smooth with high FPS standards. Intro, end credits and such was real nice aswell, felt very Halo when text was made with the same style as the real Halo games. Also the "instructions" screens are always a HUGE plus in games! Especially when made as fine as yours. But some things were lesser good, that when turning with the warthog, it turned instantly, did not match id say. And that the (gonna try a new word here) tire-smokings stayed as when you were jumping with the warthog.

The sound was of pretty good qual, yet a little lame and unexiting or surprising. And gun sounds got annoying as you had no other weapons of choise so one gun, one sound all round. But since it had sound effects and background music its still a good work.

The layout in the game was pretty, well, simple and a real nice try actually. But, it did actually not bring that much joy. I really love the concept of a simplified Halo game at 2D, but its gonna take alot more than this to make it to the 10. Example, could really use some kind of Minimap that shown opponents base and urs + where ur mates and opponents were. Since i found it really boring after like, 2nd capture since it was all the same over and over again. The option of using the warthog was also really cool! But it was not as fun as id expect it to be, it was basicly the same as walking but a little faster... and, the same gun as when being an infantry. And i could not really jump out of it when once jumped into it either so. Also, when died you got Game Over - well - i just dont find that fun since the opponents respawned at after death. It'd be real great if this game would offer some more action by letting you respawn after death and just lose the flag if you had it on you, and it would drop to the ground and opponents would have to rescue the flag.

But it isnt the variety that i found being the most disturbing element in this game, but the spawns of the opponents. They did not seem to have solid spawn points and could spawn like 8 feet from your own base, which i found really disturbing. And, at them taking a score they actually didn't seem to HAVE to move all the way back to their base. Opponents leaving comments when killed was a little fun part and cheered the game up overall and made it feel a little bit like playing on-line.

This is a very nice idea of a 2D game and you obviously has the skills of an animator and programmer to complete with doing something that could hit top 3 of all time! But, I would seriously say that you should co-op with some other experienced game creator and let that person be a part of the creating of future games. Mate, I really leave my vote on you! Im sure you will go really far! Vote: 3

Detta var ett väldigt underhållande spel. Gillar den lilla småoriginella karaktären och handlingen. Först och främst lade jag märke till musiken som jag fann väldigt simpel och trallvänlig som fastnar i skallen och som flyter på fint.

Tyvärr är jag inte ett jätte fan av plattformsspel där man hoppar från plattform till plattform men det gick an ändå. Några saker som är störande i vissa lägen är dock att det är lite svårt å veta vad som kommer framför en och man vet ibland inte när fienderna kan skada en eller inte. Vilket gör det aningen svårt å tajma vissa lägen eller planera sin framfärd förbi ett hinder. Sen är det lite ryckigt när man hoppar, från dem fjädrar eller dylikt, så händer de att gubben lixom vibrerar upp och ner. Inget större problem dock.

Man känner sig även väldigt inklämd, lite mer utrymme hade kunnat kännts uppfriskande. Dvs större plattformar utan så många hål.

Annars tycker jag du och de andra har jobbat på fint, ser en klar förbättring på dina spel sedan de första jag spelade. Och om du börjar arbeta med andra kan jag bara säga lycka till! Känns inte som du har långt kvar till en äkta NG kändis. Något du borde göra är någon spel serie (tänker på Firefox och liknande). Röstar: 4

Another great GREAT flash game by Mausland

You sure know what you are doing mate. Every game you have submit so far as i know have either been on front page or best of all time! So you have to be the very very best flash game maker on this site, witout doubt. Your games are either really amusing and addictive or interactive and fun as this one! This game was really filled with action and with highscore system it will keep many players hooked up long to make their names famous on the highscore lists! Really brilliant! The graphics were original as always, but the character himself could use a little more details or shadowings or something like that. Also some of the voices in the game sound a little messed, dont know if they were supposed to, like radio disturbances or something. Then the sound, was really humorous! Keep them coming mate! Vote: 5

Gravity?

That animal needs some serious studying of the gravity. This was a very original idea, and all a little humoristic in its way. Something I have never seen before, with funny music included. But the music stopped and didn't loop over when it was over though. And when you made it to the moon, when you lost control of the animal and started hovering higher and higher, could be fixed a little, since I thought I had been stuck by some bug or something since nothing moved and the animal was at the bottom of the screen all way along. And the game was also too easy, I made it at my first try and only touched like 3 enemies, so a massive increasement on healthloss should be introduced. I love this idea and I want to see how much further you are willing to take it! Because I want to see more of this, can really become a classic on Newgrounds! Nice one! Vote: 5

Riktigt fint det här! Det är verkligen så att man får en sprite känsla av detta. Älskade sättet man samlade pengar för att komma till nästa bana på! Sjukt roligt! Kontrollerna var överens med ens tryckningar och ljudet var i stort sett helt perfekt. Sista banan var också rolig! Undvik alla fiender :) Men dock lite kort fasst ett helt okej flash spel! Nu tar jag den lite hårdare biten, saker som var mindra bra eller kanske bör uppmärksammas. Vet inte hur kombo systemet fungerade riktigt men det funkade inte alltid i vilket fall, kanske inte ska det ? En del fiender sprang iblan baklänges! Men det garvade man bara åt! Tycker inte du ska ändra det det var roligt :D Sen när musiken loopar på andra banan tror jag hörs det lite hack. Annars är den perfa. Dock kunde det ha straffat sig aningen mer när man fick minus poäng... -1 eller -4 gör ingenting. Borde ta alla minuspoäng x100 eller någonting så man verkligen inte vill ha minus poäng. Hoppas på fler sådana spel det var riktigt roligt! Kanske man skulle kunna köpa coola saker i framtiden? Som eldblomma, bäversvans, groddräkt (hoppahögre) eller något annat roligt? Bra jobbat mannen!!! Vote: 4

Awesome!

That seems like a hell lot of hard work. All the characters, very variating! Indeed a incredibly job!!! All moves aswell... how the heck you managed that? You knocked your neighbours doors and asked if they wanted to be beaten up in a flash game? :) The style just has to go 10, i mean, not many makes their very own fighting games like this. With this quality and so. Sounds, well as non-variating as these games are. But still charmful! Interactivity was very well, but buttons were a little odd placed, squared. But worked out anyways. Pretty humorous aswell, "Do not read this sign" :D And some of the enemies... that hunchback lady xD Very nice job! Who came up with the attacks btw? I recognize some of em from Karate :D Vote: 5

Thanks Mp3Durahell - the "hunchback" is in real life a rather beautiful woman by the name of Helen - she's just a good actress!

I came up with the attacks (for myself and some of the other characters). One of my arts is kickboxing, which is basically freestyle Karate.

Basically, I bribed the guys with free beer to appear. Once I'd got a few in, everyone wanted to get involved - so I ended up spending months cutting out sprites!

WOW

This is the first time as i have seen a turorial cover plenty of programs and still be GOOD! Graphics are very ok and you can read it all with ease. Good mix of help boxes and downloadable test files! That is something new! This is going to fav list so i can use it as help when i am animating. THANKS MATE

The most important thing is missing

The possibility to change the controls. I hate these controls. It feels completely off to jump on S button and almost 80% of the time i die its because of the controls. Maby some love them but i dont so, sorry, i vote 3

Very refreshing

A cool and kinda stylish game. What could improove is perhaps more modes, more songs and some new stuff like bonuses and so on. Would really hit the spot. But this is the ground piece and make more please!
